Earning your 95-hour certificate

Earning your Yoga Alliance 95-hour Children’s Yoga certification gives you the acknowledgement of Yoga Alliance. You do not need to have a 95-hour Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher certification in order to successfully teach yoga to children. If this is a goal of yours, you can earn it through Omtastic Yoga School. After completing both Modules 1 and 2 (in either order) you will be given several opportunities to observe our teachers in classrooms, experiencing different age groups and teaching styles. You will become an intern with a teacher/mentor, develop classes of your own and practice teach. We will be there to coach and guide you in any capacity you need. (Students who have successfully completed Module 1 and/or our full 95-hour training are considered First for teaching positions with Healthy Me! The Balanced Classroom, which is our after-school and in-school yoga and mindfulness program). As part of your 95-hour training, you can take any 2 of our scheduled 4-hour trainings. These can be Specialty Trainings (see next page) or Curriculum Trainings (pages 5 and 6). These can be done at any time during your 95-hour training process. We oer these several times per year, and offerings will vary.

REQUIREMENTS for 95-hour certified children’s yoga teacher training:
MODULE ONE (Let’s Play Yoga!) – 32 hours (includes homework and reading)
MODULE TWO (Beyond Asana) 38 hours (includes homework and reading) (2) 4-hour trainings 8 hours (Specialty or Curriculum)
PRACTICUM/MENTORING Observation 6 hours Interning/assisting 6 hours Teaching with observer 6 hours Teaching Yoga to Children Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher School

INVESTMENT: $1500 (purchased separately) Module One, Two are $650 each (1300). 4-hour trainings are $150 each (300). Practicum and Mentoring are an investment of time.

Due to Corona Virus we are now able to offer this option online. Complete this training from the comfort of your home with assignments, video calls and online content.  Available through Dec. 31, 2020 with Yoga Alliance Certification.
